Our Approach
Parents & Children Preschool is dedicated to providing an age-appropriate developmental program which encourages creativity and exploration, stimulates cognitive growth, all the while fostering social and emotional maturity in preparedness not only for kindergarten, but for life.

Through a structured and lively environment, using a variety of materials which enable artistic, physical, musical, dramatic, scientific, mathematical, and literary exploration, all enhanced by rich social interaction with their peers, we believe that children blossom and mature in a nurturing environment overseen by loving and respectful teachers who are committed to showing children that they are free to express themselves, as long as they stay within the carefully defined limits of consideration for others.

For younger children, the main emphasis is on socialization and fundamentals such as art, physical awareness, role-playing, drama, reading, music, and free play in a resource-rich environment. Older children are introduced to higher cognitive thinking through mathematical concepts, scientific principles, cultures of the world, and basic reading and writing exposure.
In all learning endeavors, children are listened to, read to, played with, encouraged to communicate, asked to contribute, challenged intellectually when appropriate, and are given many opportunities to express themselves with pens, crayons, paper, paint, play-dough, scissors and glue (not to mention Kool-Aid, slime, bird seed, shaving cream, spice paints etc.)
